Believe it or not, early basketball was played with a peach basket that still had its bottom intact! Players needed a ladder to retrieve the ball after goal😂 It wasn’t until later that someone had a bright idea: "Why not just cut the bottom out?" And just like that, basketball became the fast-paced game we know today!
Also, those bumpy textures on a professional basketball aren’t just for looks! They help players grip the ball better, making dribbling, passing, and faking moves as smooth as magic.
